On 19th Dec. 2019 at Goa, Iconic Education Summit & Awards 2019 — This award has been given by Mr. Shahnawaz Hussain (Cabinet Minister, Govt. of India & National Spoke Person of BJP), Ms. Mugdha Godse (Bollywood Star) to the Honorable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar and Co-Ordinator of NAFS — Mr. Neeraj Nagar.

More than 1000 Fire & Safety Engineering Colleges of India participated in this award but NAFS, NAGPUR earned such a great award at National Level. More than thousands of students are working in this field for Nation by NAFS. One of the Best Institutes of Nagpur is got such a Big Award which represents Nagpur at a National Level.

Dr. Sushantkumar, President of NAFS Fire & Safety Institute, was honoured with the prestigious "Vidarbha Ratna 2025" Award by Hon'ble Union Minister of India, Shri Nitinji Gadkari.

This award was presented to five inspiring personalities from the Vidarbha region who have brought pride to Vidarbha through their outstanding contributions in the fields of education, healthcare, art, literature, and administration. Dr. Sushantkumar was selected from the field of education — which is a matter of great pride for the region.

Dr. Sushantkumar is the President and Chief Managing Director of NAFS — National Academy of Fire and Safety Engineering, Nagpur. He has been actively associated with the field of Fire Safety and Disaster Management for the past 18 years. His NAFS institution is renowned not only across India but throughout Asia. The institute's head office is located in Nagpur, with more than 200 training centers operating across the country.

On 6th June 2019 at Mumbai, Govt. of Maharashtra — Hon'ble Education Minister — Shri Vinod Tayde conferred the award to the NAFS President — Dr. Sushantkumar & NAFS Co-Ordinator — Mr. Neeraj Nagar. The grand event was attended by BJP MP Shri Gopal Shetty and several other dignitaries from the academic field.

Based on the performance of the institute for the last 10-12 years, NAFS was shortlisted for this best award. The training pattern of NAFS & the educational work of Dr. Sushantkumar was highly appreciated by the Education Minister.

On 28th Feb. 2020 at Goa, India's Signature Brands & Awards 2020 — Mr. Sunil Shetty (Bollywood Superstar) conferred the award to the Honorable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar.

Mr. Sunil Shetty said: "Before awarding the award, I personally inquired about the placement record of NAFS and also verified it. Indeed the placement record of NAFS is commendable. NAFS is very good platform to make career in the field of fire and safety."

On 15th March at Delhi, Worldwide Achievers — Asia Education Summit — This award was given by Mr. Upendra Kushwaha (Minister of State for HRD — Govt. of India) and Kiran Kher (Member of Parliament & Film Actress) to the Honorable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar.

More than 500 Fire & Safety Engineering Colleges of India participated but NAFS NAGPUR earned the award at National Level. Mr. Upendra Kushwaha said: "The fire-safety training pattern of NAFS is commendable and because of this, cadets from all over the country and abroad come to study here."

At New Delhi on 8th Dec. 2016, NAFS President — Dr. Sushant Kumar got awarded as Rashtriya Shiksha Ratna Award 2016 for Outstanding Contribution for National Progress and World Peace.

This grand function was arranged at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The award was handed over by Union Minister of State Sakshi Maharaj, Rajyasabha Committee Chairman P.B. Bhattacharya, Anti Corruption Committee Head M.S. Bitta.

Dr. Sushant Kumar said: "I feel extremely honoured and appreciative for receiving this significant award which boosts my confidence and inspiration to realize my dreams in developing innovative, creative society."

Dr. SushantKumar, the distinguished President of NAFS Fire and Safety Organization, has been conferred with the prestigious "Vidarbha Ratna" accolade by Lokmat Media's Chief and Rajya Sabha MP, Vijay Darda and Nagpur Rural's Lok Sabha MP, Krupal Tumane, amidst a grand ceremony in Ramdaspeth, Nagpur.

A roster of 100 individuals from all districts of Vidarbha was published, from which 25 were selected. Dr. Sushant Kumar ranked prominently among them for his outstanding contributions in education and social work.

Dr. Sushantkumar, President of NAFS, was honored with a doctoral title for his outstanding contribution to educational and social work at a grand event held at California University, Northern Marina Island, USA.

15 people were selected from all over India. Dr. Sushantkumar has been running the fire-safety academy for over 15 years, and his academy has been an important contributor to relief operations in the Uttarakhand disaster and Nepal earthquake.

On 23rd July 2017 at New Delhi, AVP Media & Marketing Group — International Education Service Excellence Awards, 2017 — This award was given by Mr. Chetan Sharma (Indian Cricket Team Player) to the Honorable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar.

ABP Media conducted a nationwide survey and shortlisted 200 institutes in fire safety. NAFS was selected on the basis of army training pattern. Chetan Sharma said: "I would like to visit NAFS Nagpur National Campus to learn horse riding and train in gun shooting."

On 26th June 2016 at Delhi — This award was given by Shri Sandeep Kumar (Minister for Social Welfare), Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar (MP), Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi (Spokesperson AICC) to the Honorable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar.

More than 150 Fire & Safety Engineering Colleges of India participated. NAFS won as an Innovator and Leader in the Education sector in India — recognized by the Praxis Media Group for best judged performance.

On 23rd April 2016 at Delhi, Econs And Cee (Confederation Of Education Excellence) Education Summit 2016 — This award was given by Mr. Udit Raj (MP) & Mr. Ajay Mishra (Deputy Secretary CBSE, Ministry of HRD) to the Honorable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar.

The summit covered "Paradigm of Education Systems". NAFS President Dr. Sushantkumar's speech about Today's Education Policy was widely appreciated.

The Honourable President of NAFS — Dr. Sushant Kumar was awarded by Indian Business Survey, New Delhi as "Business Youth Icon of The Year of India".

He is working to reduce the gap between India's Education System and Company Requirement — decorating the syllabus of Fire & Safety as per company criteria and creating a platform for students to remove unemployment at its root.

NAFS received the Best Branch Award by AISECT group on 25th June 2015. This award was presented by Hon'ble Mr. Banbanrao Gholap, Welfare Minister of Maharashtra Government.

NAFS also received the "Best Performance of The Year" award from Mr. Latoor Singh Verma (General Manager — AISECT). NAFS always proved to be the best devoted branch — delivering quality education with maximum educational utility for students.
